Cryptocurrency financial company Circle has released the third audit certificate on the reserves of its stable coin, USD Coin (USDC), on 16 January, according to an official statement. Link below
Independent third party review of Circle’s US dollar reserves was conducted by independent auditing firm Grant Thornton LLP.
According to the report on 31 December 2018 at 11.59. At UTC, 251,211,148 USDC tokens were issued and outstanding, while the company holds 251,211,209 USD in deposits, an excess of USD $ 61 reserves
The USDC stablecoin is an Ethereum (ETH) based ERC20 token first announced last May, shortly after the company raised $ 110 million in a round of investment.
